Vance Campbell
President
President, Vance Campbell, has been at the forefront of the British Columbia Hospitality Industry for over forty years, and maintains an extensive network of relationships and contacts with elected officials, political staff and civil servants at all levels of Government, developed over many years of dealing with Governments shaping the evolution of liquor legislation in the Province.
As lead government-relations consultant, advocating for BC VQA wines, on behalf of the esteemed Wine Growers of British Columbia (formerly British Columbia Wine Institute) he has developed a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the complexities of how agricultural initiatives intersecting with Government policy affect and enhance the growth and potential success of small business specializing in farm-to-table agricultural production in British Columbia. He was responsible for coordinating the launch of BC wines into grocery stores in British Columbia.
He has played a leading role with several industry delegations in communicating with all levels of Government. He is generally viewed as a respected non-partisan voice on liquor related issues.
Vance has long been an active member of the business community and has been a visionary advocate for the following organizations:
Barwatch and Best Bar None BC, as co-founder of public service organizations dedicated to providing safer environments for patrons in BC liquor licensed premises.
The British Columbia Cabaret Owners Association as Vice President of the industry organization that was the forerunner of ABLE BC.
The Vancouver Theatre Row Business Association, as past President of the organization that was charged with re-imagining the Granville Entertainment Zone.
Vance also has served the industry as an active member of the following committees:

An operator of numerous Hospitality businesses, he successfully advocated for the establishment of the Granville Entertainment Zone, Vancouver’s nightclub district.
The Hospitality Industry Liquor Licensing Advisory Committee, (HILLAC)
Representative whose purpose was to liaise with Government on Liquor Industry related issues.

Chairman representing the Hospitality Industry during the difficult provincial industry-wide transition from smoking to non-smoking environments in British Columbia Restaurants and Bars.
